In 1982 I won a scholarship to a Musical Theatre Workshop in Dallas,
TX. The audition for Southern, CA was held at College of the Desert
in Palm Desert, CA where I attended school, and was named after
Mary Martin. She was a resident of Rancho Mirage, where she died in
1990 of cancer. These pictures were publicity shots of myself and 2
other scholarship winners (Michelle Prowse & Brad Little) at Mary
Martin's Rancho Mirage residence in 1982.

I just recently Googled my old friend Brad Little and found that he has been a professional actor
for many years. He has played the role of the Phantom over 2000 times in theaters across America,
on Broadway, and in Asia since 1997. Brad is a native Californian raised in Redlands. His other
Broadway and National tour credits include: Cyrano, the Musical, playing the role of Captain De
Castel Jaloux; Fiddler on the Roof, with Topol; the Lincoln Center production of Anything Goes
directed by Jerry Zaks, in which he understudied and played the role of Billy Crocker opposite
